First Day: route:Tbilisi-Kutaisi (250 km)
Drive to Imereti region On the way you will have opportunity to see and buy Georgian ceramic at Shrosha ceramic fair; also you will taste Nazuki – National Georgian sweet bread; Visit: Bagrati Cathedral It was built in the early years of the 11th century, during the reign of King Bagrat III due to which it was called “Bagrati” Cathedral, i.e., Bagrat’s cathedral. The cathedral, now in ruins, has gone down as a masterpiece in the history of medieval Georgian architecture; Gelati Monastery It is a monastery complex, which contains the Church of the Virgin founded by the King of Georgia David the Builder in 1106. Second Day: route:Kutaisi-Sataplia-Motsameta-Kutaisi (25 km)

Visiting Sataplia It is famous by its rarest and the most beautiful caves. Near the cave is the speleogical museum. Sataplia cave was discovered in 1925. In 1933 there were discovered traces of dinosaurs that were 120 million years old. More than 200 dinosaur tracks were discovered in two different layers of limestone. Motsameta monastery monument of Georgian architecture, is situated in the mountains of northern Imereti, on the territory of the village of Motsameta. The complex consists of a domeless Church, a wall, and auxiliary buildings.

Third Day: route:Kutaisi-Vani-Tbilisi (350 km)

visit David Kakabadze Kutaisi Fine Art Gallery - The museum houses collections of XIX-XX c.c. Georgian artists: paintings (Niko Pirosmani, Gigo Gabashvili, Al. Tsimakuridze, K. Magalashvili, E. Akhvlediani, L. Gudiashvili, K. Sanadze, S.Kobuladze, R.Sturua), drawings, sculptures (B. Avalishvili, G.Nikoladze, Ir.Okropiridze, S.Kipiani, V.Mizandari, Sh. Mikeladze), and applied art samples.then visit Vani museum was founded in 1985 by Academician Otar Lordkipanidze during the international symposium. The museum (more than 4.000 items) houses the archaeology collection excavated in Vani since 1985. The Gold Fund was opened at the museum in 1987, after the discovery of the rich burial. In the Gold Fund are kept unique samples of goldsmith work from Vani site. The permanent exhibition of the museum displays cultural development of the site from VI c. up to I c. B.C. (bronze sculptures, fragments of them, gold, silver, bronze objects, samples of coins, etc.).
