Tour in Pshav-khevsureti for 2 Days
route:Tbilisi - Chargali - Shatili - Mutso - Artodisckali - Tbilisi
1 Day: Deparchure to Pshavi, which is located in Dusheti. Driving Zhinvali reservoir will arrive in the village which is located in Chargali Pshavskogo Aragvi Gorge. Here we will visit the museum house of Vazha Pshavela - the great poet of the XIX century. Then we can taste mineral water from a source called "Vazhas Tskali" and go to Khevsureti, which is located north of Pshavi. In the the village will visit the Ethnographic Museum, Korsch, and then over the pass Datvisdzhvari (2686m.) move to Pirikita Khevsureti where we have a chance to view the medieval fortress and towers Lebaiskari and Kistan fortresses.
Overnight in Shatili at the hotel in tents or in tower according to your wish.
2 Day: In the morning exploring the city - the fortress Shatili (1400m.)Here is a special atmosphere, stunningly beautiful landscapes, unusual architecture, traditions and way of life of the mountaineers.UNESCO listed Shatili as World Heritage.
Then we will see Anatori tomb. In the XVIII century villagers of Anatori became extinct due to typhoid fever. At the crossroads of roads are two famous tombs, following ancient custom, the villagers took refuge there, learning about the illness and resigned, waiting for death.
After we visit the village - castle Mutso (1880m.) The fortress defended the historical region of Georgia Khevsureti. This castle is located on the northern slope of the Caucasus Mountains in the valley of the river Ardotistskali, at an altitude above sea level. Mutso terraces built on a vertical cliff, where there are 30 residential buildings, 4 military castles. Among them the famous castle Torgva and several ancient ruins structured. The original architecture of ancient fortresses attracts many tourists.
